Japanese auto maker Toyota is planning to unveil the new 86 TRD Griffon concept car at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2013.
The new concept car will be powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that generates an output of 187hp (7,000rpm) and 205Nm of torque (151lbft at 6,600rpm).
Featuring the D-4S direct injection technology, the car is 4,240mm long, 1,285mm tall, 2,570mm wide and comes with new suspension and exhaust systems.
In addition, the company is also planning to unveil the two-door GT 86/Scion FR-S-based concept coupes including the GRMN Sports FR Platinum, Tom's N086V, 86 × style Cb and 86 Modellista at the event.
