US-based stevia-sweetened chocolate maker Lily’s Sweets is making a new addition to its chocolate offerings with the Dark Chocolate Premium Baking Bar.
The 55% dark chocolate baking bar is a non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan and made with Fairtrade chocolate.
Lily's Sweets co-founder and president Cynthia Tice said: "Our new Dark Chocolate Premium Baking Bar is ideal for dessert enthusiasts who want all the flavor and indulgence of chocolate with less sugar and calories. This new baking bar and our popular baking chips give health-conscious chocolate lovers two delicious options for guilt-free baking."
The Dark Chocolate Premium Baking Bar, which is available in a four-ounce size, is being launched for the holiday season. The rich, dark chocolate flavour provides intensity to brownies and ganache. The baking bar can be added to any dessert as a garnish item too.
Lily's Sweets' chocolate offerings contain no added sugar and are made with natural plant-based sweetener stevia. The chocolate is claimed to contain 25% lesser calories than the conventional chocolates.
The company offers dark chocolate bars in other variants too such as Original which is made rich, stevia-sweetened dark chocolate with no added sugar. The Coconut and Cocoa variants use organic coconut and 55% Fairtrade dark chocolate and sweetened with stevia. Crispy Rice variant comes with a crackle, crunchy chocolate bar with a velvety texture, and sweetened with stevia. The Almond variant comes with a mix of healthy, dry-roasted almonds mixed with creamy, stevia-sweetened, Fairtrade 55% cocoa.
The company's other products include stevia-sweetened velvety dark chocolate bars, creamy 40% milk-based chocolate bars, and premium dark chocolate baking chips, which are available at more than 3,000 natural, specialty and grocery stores nationwide.
