Scott White, an inventor of a condiment container called the CondiCup, has filed a lawsuit alleging patent infringement by Heinz.
According to White, the ketchup company infringed one or more patents through its 'Dip & Squeeze' product.
Heinz corporate and government affairs vice-president Michael Mullen, however, dismissed the allegations by saying that the company worked for years to develop its dual-function Dip & Squeeze ketchup package.
White told PlasticsToday that he would comment on matter only when it concludes.
