Vector Software, a provider of software testing solutions, has integrated its VectorCAST platform with Segger Microcontroller Systems' embOS real-time operating system (RTOS).
The embOS is a zero interrupt latency RTOS designed to be used as foundation for the development of embedded real-time applications.
The internal structure of embOS, which is designed to offer the benefits of a fully featured multitasking system using minimal resources, has been optimized to fit the needs of different industries.
The embOS RTOS can be used in a variety of applications including medical devices, industrial controls, test and measurement equipment, telecommunications and consumer electronics.
Segger said the embOS has been optimized for minimum memory consumption in both RAM and ROM, as well as high speed and versatility.
