Key Insurance Company is set to implement Accenture Duck Creek Rating property and casualty (P&C) policy software, to support their product development and expansion activities across the US.
The user interface configuration tool is expected to be used by the company as its core rating system to support web-based quoting for their expanding agency network.
The software's ability to manage rating, product definition, and the user experience with a common toolset will enable Key Insurers to streamline the product implementation process as it moves to write in additional states.
Key Insurance IT manager Ed Sitz said, ''We had two priorities in our software selection - making product development and maintenance easier and giving agents faster and more direct access to those products.''
Accenture Software for P&C Insurance global managing director Michael Jackowski added, ''With its high velocity rating and rules engine, Accenture Duck Creek Rating can help insurers move quickly into new markets by providing outstanding support to both internal and external users.''
Headquartered in Kansas, Key Insurance is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Med James, and provides personal automobile coverage in Kansas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Arizona, and Alabama, US.
