The Coca-Cola Company has acquired Sacramento Coca-Cola Bottling, its independent bottler in the US.
Sacramento Coca-Cola Bottling president and chief executive officer Rob Siebers said, "We believe this is the right action to ensure the continued success of Coca-Cola in Northern California."
The company distributes Coca-Cola products in all or part of the nine California counties of Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Placer, El Dorado, Amador, Stanislaus, Sutter and Tuolumne currently.
The parties have not disclosed the purchase price.
