ConAgra Foods is voluntarily recalling 756 cases of Andy Capp's Hot Fries flavor product in the US,as it may contain Andy Capp's Cheddar Fries flavor,and,therefore,an undeclared allergen soy.
People with soy allergy and those with a severe sensitivity to soy may experience serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.There have been no illnesses reported to date in connection with this product.
The product affected by the recall is Andy Capp's Hot Fries,packaged in.85-ounce blue poly bags.The product bears a Case UPC of 20-0-26200-47169-7,unit UPC 00-0-26200-47168-6,batch code 5381232500,and a sell by date of August 17,2013.
Consumers who have purchased the product can return it to place of purchase for a full refund.ConAgra Foods noted that it will work with retailers to ensure that the recalled products are removed from store shelves.
