Mobicip, the best-selling parental control and internet safety service for mobile devices, announced the availability of HTTPS filtering as a part of its free and premium offering for family, school and business customers.

Unlike most filtering products that can only detect and block encrypted websites, Mobicip does actual HTTPS filtering. The filter dynamically analyzes the content on SSL encrypted websites. This allows the school or parent to block just the objectionable videos on YouTube, for example, or bad language on a Facebook page, while allowing the domain itself.
