Cains Foods Recalls Olde Cape as They Contain Milk, Which Is Not Mentioned on The Label

Cains Foods has initiated a recall of 2,273 six-pack cases of 16 oz. Olde Cape Cod Chipotle Ranch dressing, as they contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

Consumers intolerant to milk and egg are at the risk of a serious or life-threatening reactions, if they consume products containing these ingredients.

The recall was initiated after the company found that a small portion of the production run contained an incorrect back panel label for 'Light Raspberry Vinaigrette & Marinade' dressing. The label did not indicate the presence of milk and egg.

The dressing was distributed to stores in the states of Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Wyoming.

To date, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Customers are advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
