Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall Motors (GWM) has signed a cooperation agreement with Germany based automotive electronics supplier Kostal.
Under the deal, the companies will jointly produce traditional electromechanical products, comfortable and safe electronic products, and innovative technologies.
According to GWM, it will use more advanced technologies from Kostal on its current and future vehicle models.
With the deal, both the companies expect to strengthen their cooperation in the future as well as the research and development in order to satisfy the future requirements of the auto industry.
As part of the contract, Kostal will provide all-round support to GWM with its technical knowledge in the field of its products.
The auto parts supplier has been supplying seat adjustment switches, rain and light sensors, PEPS, combined switches and door & window switches for GWM's vehicles including Great Wall H6, Great Wall H5 and Great Wall C50 since 2006.
