Neo Solar August revenues up on month,down on year Nuying Huang,Taipei;Adam Hwang,DIGITIMES[Thursday 6 September 2012]Neo Solar Power,a Taiwan-based maker of crystalline silicon solar cells,had revenues of NT$1.072 billion(US$35.8 million)for August increasing by 5.57%on month but decreasing by 39.35%on year and those of NT$9.152 billion for January-August dropping by 42.08%on year,according to the company.
The sequential revenue growth was due to increased shipments to Japan and emerging markets,Neo Solar indicated.Based on order visibility,Neo Soar expects to maintain high capacity utilization rates in September,the company noted.
General Energy Solutions,Neo Solar's subsidiary provider of integrated service for PV system installation projects,has won contracts for more than 10 projects with total installation capacity of about 5MWp in Taiwan,Neo Solar noted.
