Foolproof Brewing, a producer of hand-crafted beers, has partnered with Northeast Beverage, a Connecticut-based independent beverage distributor, to expand the distribution of its beers across Connecticut from 28 October 2013.
The Rhode Island-based beer maker mainly produces three year-round beers, which will be available in draft and 12oz can format across Connecticut. Connecticut becomes the third state to carry the brewery's beers.
The three beers are Barstool, an American golden ale; Raincloud, a robust porter; and Backyahd, an IPA, which are sold at suggested retail price of $9.49 per six-pack.
Having started selling beers in Rhode Island in January 2013, the brewery doubled its brewing production capacity in April 2013 and expanded its distribution to Massachusetts in May 2013.
Foolproof president and founder Nick Garrison said: "This is a big step toward growing Foolproof into a regional beer brand, and we hope this announcement will excite craft beer lovers across Connecticut and all of New England."
