BMW is planning to launch MINI 5 door, which is an upgraded version of the MINI with two additional doors, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The two additional doors facilitate entry to the rear part of the car, making the entry and exit to the car easier
The door of the MINI 5 has an extended wheelbase of 72 millimeters, which provides additional space for occupants and luggage by 30% when compared to the 3-door model.
Users will have option to choose between six engines consisting of winPower Turbo engine, three or four cylinders option that can provide 95 hp to 192 hp.
The company claims that the engine option will offer a combined fuel efficiency of 5.9 - 3.5 l/100 km.
The new MINI generation includes features optimized display and operating concept along with a new driver assistance system. Other features of the 5 door variant will remain the same as the MINI 3 door model.
