Pentel (Australia) has appointed Matthew Lamont as the company's new national sales manager.
Pentel marketing manager Ian Alldis said the role had been vacant for two to three years and the time had come to appoint someone to the position, which reports to Pentel (Australia) managing director Hideki Hayama.
Lamont, who joined on March 26, was previously national business development manager at Complete Office Supplies, having previously worked for Fuji Xerox and Lyreco.

Meantime, Australian Office is looking for a national account manager – retail.
This is a new position and covers responsibility for the commercial and financial activities of a customer base through ranging and distribution, promotional planning, forecasting, sales analysis and strategic development.
The role will report to the national sales manager – retail and will be based in Melbourne and will involve some interstate travel.
