Global dairy company Arla Foods has selected Bericap closures for its Cravendale White Milk PET bottles. The new DoubleSeal 33/12 is equipped with a folded tamper evidence band for safe breaking.
The DoubleSeal DS 33/12 is also equipped with a specific design of the sealing lip for tight sealing to ensure integrity of the product.
According to Bericap, the closure, which is used on PET bottles at present, can be decontaminated with all standard decontamination methods for aseptic filling. After adaptation the closure can also be used on high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles.
Recently the UK-based company Arla relaunched its Cravendale brand by introducing new 1l PET bottles, which are easy to use and can be re-closed comfortably.
The brand is also expanding into the food-to-go category by launching a new 500ml bottle into their range.
