On December 31, 2012, Shanghai Brand-name Recommendation Committee officially announces 2012 Shanghai brand name products and services recommended list. Five Baosteel projects are selected.
It is understood that Shanghai brand-name products and services annual reporting, review, selection and recommendation is to further encourage and support Shanghai enterprises' implementation of brand strategy and truly form a group of strong enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and international competitiveness and promote stable and rapid economic and social development in Shanghai. In 2012, a total of 447 brand products and 178 brand services in Shanghai have applied. Based on preview, professional accreditation, comprehensive assessment by relevant departments and experts and on online publication, and final validation by Shanghai Brand-name Recommendation Committee plenary session, 410 products and 146 services are selected on 2012 annual Shanghai brand name products and services recommended list.
2012 Shanghai brand-name products and services recommended list is divided into product class - production material, product class - consumer commodity and service class. Four of Baosteel products are included in the recommended list of the product class - production material: Baokang Electronic Co.,Ltd.'s electronic police and intelligence bayonet, Baosteel Magnetic Industry Co., Ltd.'s BRL Mn-Zn soft magnetic ferrite material powder, Shanghai Baosteel Chemical Co., Ltd.'s benzene special and refined naphthalene. In addition, B-steel Co., Ltd.'s e-commerce is included in the service class recommended items.
