Miguel Caballero Come up with Line of Bullet-Proof Clothing for School Children

Moved by Connecticut’s Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, a Colombian company named Miguel Caballero has come up with a unique line of bullet-proof clothing for school children between the ages of 8 to 16.

Not meant for everyday use, the bullet-proof collection has been designed to be handed out only by teachers during emergencies, the company said.    The line includes t-shirts, puffer and safety vests as well as a combination of vest and book bag called V-Bags.

Founded nearly 22 years ago, Bogota-based Miguel Caballero specializes in a range of bulletproof apparels, including motorcycle gear, and security and military personal protection clothing.

The shocking incident of Sandy Hook Elementary School, in which 20 small children and six staffers were openly shot and killed by a 20-year-old psychopath, took place on December 14, 2012 in the US state of Connecticut.
