NSSMC Announced That It Has Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UTC2

Japan-based steelmaker Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the joint stock company UTC2, technical consulting company whose parent equity holder is the University of Transport and Communications of Vietnam (UTC), aiming to spread the use of steel pipe piles, steel sheet piles and other steel structures in Vietnam.

This cooperation serves Vietnam's desire and need to use Japan's high technology for the improvement of infrastructure and NSSMC's need and design to spread and expand the construction of steel structures.

NSSMC stated that in future, UTC intends to work on the spread and expansion of steel structures in actual infrastructure projects, through UTC2, and the company is going to supply high-quality products, making the fullest possible use of Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam (NPV), already operating in Vietnam.
