Vaughan Furniture's board has promoted J.David Vaughan Sr.to president,the seventh Vaughan to hold that title at the 90-year-old case goods importer.
He succeeds Taylor C.Vaughan,who remains the company's CEO and board chairman.
The company also promoted Michael E.Stevens to senior executive vice president,succeeding David Vaughan.Stevens previously was senior vice president of administration and secretary.

Vaughan Furniture,founded in 1923 by Taylor G.Vaughan Sr.and Bunyan C.Vaughan,is an importer of wooden bedroom,dining room,and occasional furniture.
