Bhilai Steel Plant in association with Bhilai Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors,Delhi organized a seminar on Internal Controls and Risk Management recently.
The seminar held at Assembly Hall of HRDC,Bhilai Steel Plant,was inaugurated by Mr S Chandrasekaran CEO of BSP.Executive Directors and General Managers of BSP and about 100 executives of BSP attended and participated in the inaugural session of the seminar.
Mr PK Tiwari chairman of IIA Bhilai Branch and DGM I/c Internal Audit whole welcoming the guests and participants outlined the objectives of program and different aspects of Internal controls and Risk Management.He also briefed about the activities and functioning of IIA,Bhilai.
Mr S Chandrasekaran CEO of BSP said that a culture is to be promoted where we as an organization are able to proactively identify and eliminate or reduce the underlying risks which are inherent in any business organization or institution.
Mr Chandrasekaran said that few examples of financial and business risk.He added that the need for developing organization wide capability in Risk Management so that we are able to achieve our objectives in an uninterrupted manner.
He said that the seminar will be very useful for the employees of Bhilai Steel Plant.
