The new bottles feature a longneck with the whole surface printed in eight different shiny colors that also protect the product from light and air, while keeping the contents fresh.

The 33cl capacity Impact Bottles are aimed at attracting young and urban consumers in the age group of 22 to 28 as well as strengthening SKOL's position in the growing African market.

Impact Bottles, claimed to be completely recyclable, are also said to be light, shutter proof and fast chilling.

The bottles also have an air cushion, which absorbs the pressure of carbonation in order to reduce the risk of fizzing.

SKOL Rwanda marketing director Mark Mugarura said the company always strives to differentiate itself from its competitors.

"An innovative packaging like the Impact Bottle provides us with a great opportunity to add to our portfolio," Mugarura added.

The new bottles are available in sizes including 33cl and 50cl short neck, as well as 33cl and 47.3cl long neck along with a crown cork.
