West African glass producer Frigoglass has introduced the latest version of the Contour bottle, which reflects the shape of a soccer ball.
The company has designed the soccer bottle and new decoration in partnership with the Coca-Cola regional office in Dubai.
Frigoglass Glass Operations commercial director Darren Bennett-Voci said, "We were excited to be involved in this project and are very pleased to bring something innovative to consumers with a soccer-twist on the iconic shape of the Coca-Cola Contour bottle."
The new collectible bottle is said to support Coca-Cola's World Cup campaign, which invites consumers to be part of the celebration of the football event taking place in summer 2014 in the Brazil.
According to the company, the new bottle will be distributed by Coca-Cola in the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan.
Frigoglass has invested over $15m in technology upgrades in the Dubai glass plant to cater to growing demand for lighter glass bottles.
