Ansell, a provider of health and safety protection solutions, has launched new Gammex non-latex accelerator-free sensitive surgical glove with Sensoprene formulation.
Sensoprene formulation, which is up to 30% thinner than standard surgical gloves, is designed to provide sensitivity and to reduce the risk of both Type I (latex) and Type IV (chemical) allergies.
The company said Gammex non-latex accelerator-free sensitive surgical glove with Sensoprene is suitable for any surgical need and all allergenic profiles.
Ansell Medical global business unit president and general manager Anthony Lopez said the company has delivered new solutions to support and empower healthcare workers and protect patients.
"We were the first company to introduce an accelerator-free surgical glove and, with SENSOPRENE, we are again setting a new standard for allergy management in the healthcare industry," Lopez added.
