Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company, organised a Security and Vigilance week from November 26 - December 2, 2013, for all its stakeholders, especially employees at the Jojobera plant. The event was inaugurated by Dinesh Kudalkar, station head, Tata Power, Jojobera, along with dignitaries from the local police force and a team from Tata Motors. The objective of the initiative was to raise awareness among various stakeholder groups on security procedures and measures, in an engaging and creative manner.

A session on disaster management was also carried out that included a display of various types of weapons jointly by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and local police.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kudalkar, said, “We, at Tata Power, have always striven to make all our systems robust and secure. Safety is the primary value that we look to imbibe and endeavour, to continuously implement such measures in and around our area of operation, to ensure that not only our plant but our stakeholders benefit as well. We would like to thank everyone who contributed towards making this week-long event a success.”
