Soft fruit packager of Scotland, WH Porter has turned to a Proseal GT2 tray sealer for its whole production after the demonstration of the machine’s capability to cope with tough production line demands.
The Proseal GT2, a fully automatic high speed tray sealing system, combines high throughput with rapid tool change and space saving compact design.
WH Porter's partner James Porter said it was inspiring to see the British company achieve such a standard in build quality.
The GT2 system, which is packed with user friendly benefits including Proseal's special lightweight high strength tooling, is capable of sealing 90+ packs per minute with a six-impression tool,.
The company packs all of its own fruit, as well as produce from two other growers, which adds up to around 3 million pack units per year at a rate of up to 40,000 packs a day.
