US-based confectionery company Hershey Company is launching egg-based sweet treats and recipes, in time for Easter holidays.
The company will introduce a range of new sweets and creative activities, crafts and recipes. The festive candies include Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, Cadbury Crème Egg Candy, Cadbury Mini Eggs White Candy, Hershey's Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Eggs, and Whoppers Robin Eggs Malted Milk Eggs.
Hershey's offers colourful Easter baskets with pastel-colored candies along with activities such as sidewalk chalk or bubbles.
For Easter 2016, Hershey's is making its new range available at retail outlets across the US. While Hershey's Kisses Carrot Cake Candies are available exclusively at Walmart, it is partnering exclusively with Target to offer Reese's Peanut Butter Pastel Eggs.
Hershey's offers more than 80 brands across the world, generating about $7.4bn in annual revenues. The brand names include Hershey's, Reese's, Hershey's Kisses, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers and Brookside.
The confectionery company is now focused on building its core business which includes expansion of a broad range of snacks. It is now focusing on expanding its international presence while strengthening its North American business.
Last November, the company launched Holiday Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolates and Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars, all-natural offerings with no artificial ingredients, in time for Christmas. The Holiday Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolates packages carry SmartLabel tool, which allows consumers to scan a QR code in order to obtain detailed information about the product such as ingredients, nutritional facts, and allergens.
