The costume firm has partnered with the LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to develop outfits inspired by characters from the upcoming film.
Jakks Pacific’s costume division, Disguise, is set to create a new line of dress-up costumes based on The LEGO Batman Movie.
The company has teamed up with the LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, to create costumes based on the LEGO Batman and LEGO Batgirl characters.
“Batman is an iconic DC character, and we are excited to be partnering with the LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring LEGO Batman to life through fun and innovative costumes,” said Joe Anton, president of Disguise.
Andrea Ryder, senior director of licensing at the LEGO Group, added: “We are thrilled to team up with Disguise and Warner Bros. to produce the first-ever LEGO Batman costumes.
“They are a leader in costumes and role-play, and their creativity will allow kids to engage with LEGO Batman in a whole.
The LEGO Batman costumes have a slated release date for January 2017, while the movie will open on February 10th, 2017.
