It's reported that the Taiwanese steel pipe makers may raise the domestic prices by NT$400/ton for next January in order to reflect the price rise made by Chung Hung Steel,one of the major upstream raw material suppliers for steel pipe producers in Taiwan.
Chung Hung Steel is going to release its list prices for next January on December 25th and it's expected that the company would hike its list prices for hot rolled steel products by NT$400/ton.Besides,China's export prices of steel plates to Taiwan have increased as well recently.Affected by these factors,the Taiwan steel pipe producers may raise domestic prices by NT$500/ton for next January.
