South Korea-based automaker Hyundai Motor has partnered with Bisimoto Engineering to develop a new 1,000hp vehicle, Bisimoto 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, for the 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The new Genesis Coupe will be equipped with turbocharged 3.8L V6 engine, with the Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec engine as its core building block.
Internal features of the Hyundai Lambda 3.8-litre V6 engine include Steel connecting rods, Intake gasket, Injectors, Level 2.4 camshafts.
The Twin Bisimoto/Turbonetics BTX6462 turbochargers feature Godzilla blow-off valve and Dual RG45 wastegate.
The engine also contains Arias forged pistons, Golden Eagle sleeves, WPC metal surface treatment, Supertech valvetrain, Magnafuel 750 fuel pump and more.
For Chasis development, the company has used Bisimoto roll cage, Progress coil-over suspension and anti-roll bars, Drive Shaft Shop 5.9 axles and driveshaft, Incurve 20x9.5 and 20x11 aluminum wheels and Toyo Tires R888 R-Compound tires.
Interior developments include Buddy Club racing seats and harness, Bisimoto reservoir socks, Racepack IQ3 dash, Bisimoto oil cap, Odyssey dry cell battery, Rywire mil-spec harness and G&J braided lines.
Bisimoto Engineering owner Bisi Ezerioha said that the key to producing reliable, high horsepower engines goes well beyond the design, engineering and fabrication of performance parts.
"The Genesis Coupe 3.8-litre Lambda engine is a thoroughly robust powerplant, and Bisimoto Engineering is excited to develop it to its full potential for the rigors of competitive motorsport," Ezerioha added.
