Pink Key’s MD, Richard Pink, has revealed that the company are close to signing a new deal with a toy partner, who will bring Slush Puppie gadgets and toys to market.
Since being appointed as the exclusive UK and European licensing agent for the Slush Puppie brand, Pink Key has revealed new plans to sign up with a toy partner.
With Poetic Gem already on board for apparel, beach wear and accessories, the firm has revealed that they are on the verge of signing a new deal with a potential toy partner.
“We are on the verge of signing up with a partner who is going to be making some toys, gifts and gadgets that are all about what Slush Puppie stands for, and quite honestly could only work for this brand,” said Richard Pink, MD of Pink Key to ToyNews.
“It's a European deal and might even see us taking products further afield than that.”
He also revealed that the next 12 months will be critical to the Slush Puppie brand, as the firm hopes to expand into toy and food categories.
“We want to build on the first couple of partnerships and expand into a number of other key categories – particularly toys and food – we expect Slush Puppie to have a very good market presence in 12 months time,” added Pink.
“We’ve only just started – we think our pup lends itself to a multitude of categories and we’d love to talk to anyone who thinks the same.”
