Frontier Soups is introducing a new holiday gift basket and offering discounts on all food gift baskets during November for early holiday shoppers who are on a quest for the best healthy holiday gift baskets.
All gift baskets and pantry items, including the new holiday gift basket of goodies packaged in a festive pinecone decorated container, are discounted 10 percent in November, said Trisha Anderson, Frontier Soups founder. With prices on food gift baskets ranging from $11.65 to $44.05, shoppers can find healthy gifts for everyone on their list, Anderson said.
In addition, those who sign up for the newsletter at FrontierSoups.com will get a heads up on a special shipping deal for Cyber Monday, she added. All orders during the month will receive a free pumpkin spice mix packet that can be used to make dishes ranging from spiced nuts and pumpkin bread to cheesecake or pumpkin soup. Recipes are available in the newsletter and online.
The new holiday gift basket includes the purchaser's choice of four gourmet soup mixes, Frontier Soups Appalachian Trail Cornbread Mix, holiday curried cheddar chutney dip mix, and Walker's Shortbread Scottie Dog Cookies. It is specially priced in November at $44.05, and an optional gleaming stainless steel ladle may be added for $14.36, a 10 percent savings.
For food gift baskets, holiday shoppers can choose from among Frontier Soups 34 varieties of soups, stews, chili and chowders that provide a shortcut to homemade, including 11 soup mixes that are vegetarian or have vegetarian preparations for those who prefer meat-free meals, Anderson said. Twenty-eight of the soup mixes are certified gluten free soups like white bean chili and Cincinnati chili. Other popular soups include the best selling tortilla soup and creamy corn chowder, black bean soup and chicken noodle soup.
During November, the Ohio Valley Vegetable Soup and Holiday Gathering Sausage and Bean Soup mixes are specially priced at $5.95, $1 off the regular price. "While shoppers are looking for gifts for family and friends, they should also plan to add some soup mixes for themselves," Anderson said. "A big pot of soup makes an easy family dinner that is ready whenever spouses, kids or friends show up at the table during this busy time of year. Our vegetable soup is a great way to use leftover turkey, and the Holiday Gathering Sausage and Bean Soup is a favorite at this time of year. The red cranberry beans combined with fresh spinach in a golden curry broth give it a festive holiday flair, and people love it with the addition of chicken apple sausage, which gives it seasonal flavor."
