Vehicle Safety Is Rasied with Four-Channel Video Decoder

Power management and precision analog solution provider Intersil has introduced TW9984 four-channel analog video decoder with built-in analog video encoder to provide around-view parking assist application.

The system is designed to provide better safety to the drivers and pedestrians. It is based on the company's video decoder technology, which is capable of replaces up to nine discrete components with a single chip.

It also creates a 360-degree surround images for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

TW9984 integrates four NTSC/PAL analog video decoders that consist of 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) which is capable of supporting four analog camera inputs simultaneously.

With the TW9984 analog video decoder and encoder motorists with get to see objects around the vehicle.

The monitor will also help drivers visually confirm the vehicle's position in regards to surrounding objects for easy parking and maneuvering.
