Integrating an early electric period design with modern technology, WAC Lighting unveils the Plymouth LED Pendants in the popular Early Electric Collection. This is a sneak peak at one of over 200 new designs that will be unveiled by WAC Lighting in Showroom #3934 during the International Winter Lighting Market at the Dallas Trade Mart.
Using just five watts of energy, the Plymouth pendant is an authentic period reproduction piece handcrafted of mouth blown milk white opal glass with hand painted silver bands for a timeless look. The classic form picks up a radiating charm and nostalgic feel in a modern day energy efficient luminaire. Plymouth beautifully illuminates a nostalgic kitchen, dining area or classic bar.
“Designers require authentic vintage designs of yesteryear that meet the energy efficiency demands of today,” stated WAC Lighting President Shelley Wald. “This is not easily achieved by traditional reproduction companies. As a ‘Responsible Lighting’ company, WAC painstakingly strives for construction authenticity and quality lighting as well, but with a surprisingly high-tech eco-friendly bonus.”
The Quick Connect™ pendant, which includes the shade, a socket set and LED light source, can be used with WAC’s various rail and track lighting systems with an adapter that is ordered separately. If the user wants to select Plymouth for a ceiling canopy application, this model includes a socket set, LED and Quick Adjust™ canopy which is architecturally designed and equipped with a suspension cable that can be custom shortened without tools to accommodate a variety of ceiling heights and applications.
