Indian automaker Tata Motors has reported a sale of 40,481 vehicles, including exports in January 2014.
Of the total, domestic sales of the company were 36,657 units, which includes commercial and passenger vehicles. Cumulative sales of the company for the fiscal were 475,560 units.
In the commercial vehicle segment, the company reported a sale of 25,683 units in the domestic market in January 2014. It includes 17,517 LCVs and 8,166 M&HCVs.
Cumulative sales of the company's commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal were 321,002 units including cumulative LCV sales of 232,298 units and M&HCV sales of 88,704 units.
The automaker reported a sale of 10,974 passenger vehicles for January 2014 including 8,463 units of Nano/ Indica/ Indigo ranges and 2,511 units of Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture ranges.
Passenger vehicles cumulative sales of the company were 114,490 units, which includes cumulative sales of 88,400 units of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range and cumulative sales of 26,090 units of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria/ Venture range.
