Opel has introduced a new version of Opel Corsa, which will be powered by 1.4 LPG ecoFLEX and target cost-conscious customers.
With LPG and gasoline combined operation, the car will be able to produce 90 hp and produce CO2 emissions of 113 g/km which is 13% CO2 than in gasoline operation.
The company will be introducing two models including a three door and a five-door version of the LPG powered car.
According to Opel, apart from being fuel economic and producing low emission, the car will also come ready for bi-fuel operation ex-works, which will facilitate the drivers to switch between LPG and gasoline with a push of a button.
The automaker also claims that the vehicle will be able to achieve driving range of up to 1,200 km without having to stop to refuel.
The company highlighted that the LPG tank is installed in the spare-wheel housing of the trunk, which will facilitate collision-protection and provides more space.
Opel Group Peter vice president sales Christian Küspert said: "With the 1.3 CDTI, which consumes just 3.1 liters diesel, and our brand-new 1.4 LPG ecoFLEX, we have two real 'eco-champions' in the Corsa line-up.
"Once again, they both show how important energy efficiency and CO2emissions reductions are for us in all model ranges."
