BMW has launched the newest member of the high-performance sports car line-up, BMW M4 Convertible.
The new car is powered by six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, which is capable of producing 317 kW/431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, helping it go from 0-62mph in 4.4sec.
The roof consists of a dynamic coupe line and shorn off B-pillars while the bonet is made of aluminium having power dome. Metal folding roof can roll off from fully closed to fully open in just 20 seconds.
The roof has full interior lining which is designed to be winter-proof and soundproof.
BMW has also used carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) in several areas of the car which makes it lightweight yet rigid, and it allowed the carmaker to construct the M4 convertible as a single piece unit.
The performance figure of the new car is similar to the BMW M3 Sedan, with fuel consumption combined 8.8-8.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions combined: 204-194 g/km.
The company has also launched the siblings series of the same line El Nuevo BMW M4 Cabrio, La nouvelle BMW M4 Cabriolet, La nouvelle BMW M4 Cabrio.
