Pharmaceutical company Uluru has announced the availability of Altrazeal, an advanced scientifically engineered material, in a new 0.75g blister pack in the US market.
The configuration of the packaging overcomes various concerns expressed by users, which include excessive waste of product, inability to see the product during application and unit cost for the treatment of small chronic wounds.
Besides the new blister pack, the company will continue to offer Altrazeal in 2g and 5g foil pouches.
The launch of the 0.75g blister pack has been designed to provide an appropriate quantity for the treatment of chronic wounds and provide a pack that incorporates an applicator to improve ease of use further.
As the powder is visible in the transparent blister pack, the pack will enable the practitioner to dispense the required amount of product easily.
Altrazeal incorporates the features and benefits of the desired 'ideal' wound dressing.
