Chinese automotive platform maker AVIC Automotive Systems has acquired Henniges Automotive which makes engineered sealing and anti-vibration systems for the automotive market.
US based Henniges Automotive is known for designing, manufacturing and selling dynamic sealing and anti-vibration solutions, which is supplied to automakers around the globe. The system helps the vehicle keep quiet and dry.
The company recently added new facilities in Mexico, China and Germany in order to expand its reach in emerging markets.
The deal is expected to help Henniges Automotive benefit from AVIC Auto's solutions and its advanced technology.
The acquisition will enhance Henniges Automotive's worldwide capabilities and help the company expand its presence in the Chinese market.
