German luxury car maker BMW has unveiled the new Zagato Roadster, developed in collaboration with Italian coachbuilder Zagato, at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in California, US.
According to carmaker, the new open-top Roadster is powered by a 3.0litre turbocharged 6-cylinder engine which is expected to deliver an output of 400hp while offering a top speed of 155 mph.
Features of the new Roadster, which is designed based on the carmaker's Z4 sDrive35is model, include a 19in alloy wheels in a five spoke design.
BMW revealed that the decision to build the second car under the collaboration was made following the unveiling of its Zagato Coupe.
