US based automobile manufacturer General Motors has launched the Chevrolet Spin multi purpose vehicle (MPV) in Thailand.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.5L four-cylinder engine with dual-variable valve timing (VVT) technology paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with driver-shift control that generates an output of 107ps at 6,000rpm and torque of 148Nm at 3,800 rpm.
Features of the vehicle include two-zone climate control, a four-speaker CD/MP3 player, bluetooth, USB, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and dual front airbags.
The storage space provided by the MPV is 162L, which can be increase to 864L by folding the third row and to 1,608L by folding the second row.
Earlier, the company had unveiled the vehicle at Sao Paulo in Brazil with engines that produces an output of 108hp with ethanol and 106hp with gasoline at 6,200rpm.
