Chevrolet Has Unveiled The Revamped Model of Its Malibu Sedan with Added Features

Chevrolet, a subsidiary of the US based automobile manufacturer General Motors, has unveiled the revamped model of its Malibu sedan with added features.

Chevrolet Unveils Revamped Malibu Sedan in US

The new 2014 Malibu is powered by new Ecotec 2.5L Intake Valve Lift Control DOHC four-cylinder engine that generates an output of 196hp and 186lbft of torque, while offering a fuel economy of 23mpg in city and 35mpg on highway.

The sedan is equipped with the start/stop technology that shuts down the engine when the car stops to save fuel and is claimed to offer about 5% increase city fuel economy.

Chevrolet has also enhanced the performance of the current 2.0L six-cylinder-engine turbo engine to deliver an output of 259hp and 295lbft of torque, about 14% more compared to its predecessor.

The revamped vehicle comes with a new lower grille and the hood that extends down over the narrower upper grille having black grille texture and accented with chrome.

Features of the car include redesigned center console with a longer armrest designed, pair of cup holders, dedicated storage for two cell phones, four-channel anti-lock brakes, full-function traction control, four-corner electronic stability control, electronic brake force distribution and brake assist system.
