Brazil's Steel Mill Announced The Domestic Steel Price Will Be Stable

According to report, Brazil’s steel mill announced the domestic steel price will be stable after the twice price increases since the beginning of 2013. HRC prices are around BRL1, 750~1,830/ton, as CRC is offered around RBL 2,102~BRL2, 160/ton. In addition, the domestic steelmaker Gerdau will commission its new flat rolling mill at its Ouro Branco plant in Minas Gerais state in mid-April. The new facility’s capacity will be 800,000 tons per year of HRC. And it also plans to produce heavy plates in two years.
