UK-based Princes has introduced two Best of British cooking sauce ranges under its Crosse & Blackwell brand.
The first range of cooking sauces feature four varieties - creamy mushroom, honey & mustard, sausage casserole and ham & leek. The second range includes chicken casserole, ale & mushroom, cider & mustard and cottage pie varieties, reports just-food.com.
Princes stated that the sauces can be used for traditional oven cooked casseroles and also slow cookers. The launch is in response to the lack on innovation in the traditional cooking sauce segment, it added.
Available in 445g jars, the Crosse & Blackwell cooking sauces are priced at POUND 1.89.
Princes is involved in the manufacture, import and distribution of branded and customer own-brand products. Its product portfolio includes fish, meat, fruit, vegetables, soups, pastes, pasta, cooking sauces, edible oils and a wide range of soft drinks.
