Plastic packaging molder and decorator in the US Airlite Plastics has selected a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer IQMS to support its future growth.
According to IQMS, difficulties supporting custom built applications and integrating different software versions prompted Airlite to seek out its ERP system that could support all of its separate business divisions and business lines.
Airlite Plastics director of information technology Scott Reeves said the EnterpriseIQ ERP package of IQMS was tailored to its industry-specific manufacturing needs.
"We reviewed 10 to 12 ERP software packages before selecting IQMS," Reeves said.
The company is taking advantage of IQMS' extended services including modules for quality control, shipping management, EDI, human resources management and wireless RealTime Production Monitoring, to aid in its current and future growth.
Airlite Plastics manufactures containers and lids for food packaging, drink cups and lids, polystyrene coolers, insulated concrete form (ICF) blocks, profile and sheet extrusion and other custom plastic products.
