IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received the letter of award from IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure Company Ltd for a INR 168 crore engineering procurement and construction contract.
The contract was issued on behalf of Dighi Port Ltd and seeks to develop berth, back up yard and utilities of multipurpose terminal on the north side of Dighi Port in Maharashtra. The project is to be completed in 545 days from the date of notice period.
The scope of works includes design and construction of multipurpose berth and development of back-up area of 50 acres, ground improvement works and paving of 16 hectares area, other utilities and railway sidings.
