Hershey will add new snacking products to its existing product range at the National Confectioners Association’s annual Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago.
Commenting on the expansion, Hershey North America president Michele Buck said: "Consumers are at the heart of all we do at Hershey and we are focused on driving innovation that anticipates changing consumer preferences.
"We are excited to share our latest innovations ranging from cutting-edge technology to an expanded portfolio that includes new snacking products at the Sweets & Snacks Expo."
Hershey's new snacking products include Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars, Krave gourmet-inspired, natural jerky and Snack Bites.
Available in three flavors, Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars are snack bars made with real fruit, whole roasted almonds, rolled oats, pumpkin seeds and signature Brookside dark chocolate.
Hershey's Krave jerky marks the company's entry into the $2.5bn meat snacks industry while Snack Mixes are a combination of nuts and Hershey's iconic confection brands.
The company will present 3-D chocolate printer, a food technology that can make chocolate with intricate designs and custom shapes, such as faces, animals, buildings and logos that is not possible with traditional chocolate molding.
Hershey will introduce 3-D printed chocolate, under a partnership with 3D Systems.
