Japan's Production of Small Bars Totaled 4.73 Million Tons Rising by 3.1% Year on Year

According to data released by the Japan Iron & Steel Association (JISF), Japan’s production of small bars totaled 4.73 million tons in the first half of this year, rising by 3.1% year on year.

Therefore, it’s predicted that the country’s small bar production would reach 9.45 million tons in the whole of 2013, hitting the highest level since 2008.

Meanwhile, the country’s small bar output reached 9.05 million tons in 2012.
