Linpac Allibert and Schoeller Arca Systems Have Merged

Linpac Allibert and Schoeller Arca Systems (SAS) have merged to form a new plastic reusable transit packaging (RTP) company called Schoeller Allibert.

The collaboration enables customers to benefit from direct access to a broader range of RTP from a single source and streamlined order processing facilities.

The companies will be rebranded from January 2013, following the acquisition of the UK-based Linpac Allibert by controlling SAS stakeholder One Equity Partners (OEP) in March 2012.

Besides the range of reusable transit packaging solutions on the market, Schoeller Allibert in the Netherlands will also use its combined expertise to focus on its offering to help customers through every stage of the packaging process.

Schoeller Allibert CEO Eric De Bokx said since the acquisition by OEP both the companies have been operating as sister companies.

"As well as expanding our offering in existing markets, operating in one group with the support of our shareholders, OEP and Schoeller Industries (SI), will enable us to enter new sectors with modern and innovative products and systems," Bokx said.

Netherlands-based Schoeller Allibert manufactures reusable plastic packaging for materials handling.
