Japanese carmaker Nissan has reported 16.7% rise in its sales to 2,625,410 units during first half (H1) of 2012, while the domestic sales also increased 31.1% to 366,569 units during the period.
Nissan's global production during H1 increased 19% to 2,553,224 units, while the domestic production increased 28.7% to 578,439 units during the period.
The carmaker's H1exports increased 19.4% to 333,078 units when compared to the same period in 2011.
During June 2012, the carmaker's global sales rose 16.4% to 446,721 units and its domestic market sales increased by 2.2% year-on-year to 56,893 units over the same period in 2011.
Nissan's global production in June rose 4.5% to 438,557 units, while the domestic production decreased 2.5% to 99,800 units, due to the reduced demand for Note
The Japanese carmaker's exports in June decreased 15.3% year-on-year to 63,590 units.
