It’s reported that the steelmaker Ternium posted a net profit of US$136 million for the third quarter of this year, higher than a net profit of US$134.4 million in the same period of 2012.
Meanwhile, the company realized sales revenues of US$2.14 billion in the third quarter, down by 2% year on year, caused by lower sales of steel products in Mexico and other markets.
In January-September period, Ternium’s net profits amounted to US$421.9 million, remaining flat in comparison of the figures in the same period of a year ago.
In the given period of time, the company’s sales revenues amounted to US$6.4 billion, down by 2% year on year.
